Matthew's family love him oh so much & we will always love & miss you Matthew.
On the 7th of November 2001 Matthew's little sister Annabelle was born. Annabelle was born early & was very sick, one night when I asked them how she really was weith no sugar coating & the doctor said to be honest we don't think she will make it througth the night. I got the shock of my life when the doctor said that. So I sat with her until i could sit there no longer, I finally had to go abck to my room at 3am. I just could not sit there any longer (I had had a C-Section with Annabelle) & I was in alot of pain. I had pain relief & then I told my midwife what was happening with Ananbelle & how I could not face going down to the nursery because I could bear to be told that she had died during the night. The midwife was wonderful & said she will ring the NICU for me before I go down there. At 7pm the midwife woke me & told me Annabelle was doing really well, they had turned her ventilator down & she was doing some of the breathing herself I was so happy. Form then Annabelle went in heaps & bounds & I know who I have to thank for that. Annabelle had her big brother watching over her & making sure she did not take an even more worse turn.
This is Annabelle when she was 14 days old, I finally got to take her home the very next day. That was one of the happiest days of my life.
Annabelle was so tiny, she wore 00000 and they were too big for her. She grew out of 0000 at 4 months old.
Cuddle time with Mummy.
On The 26th of October 2004 Matthew's littlest sister Mickayla was born by emergency C-Section. There were no problems with Mickayla, but during the C-Section they could not stop my uterus bleeding. I lost over a litre of blood, narrowly missed a blood transfusion & hysterectomy. Thank fully though they stoped it bleeding. I think Matthew was looking over me this time & I thank him so very much for it.
Annabelle was a very proud big sister, she loved helping Mummy with the baby & playing peak-a-boo with her. The teddy bear that Annabelle is holding has Matthew's ashes inside it's tummy. Annabelle wanted to have their big brother in the photo too, it was so cute & shows just how much she loves her big brother even though she never got to meet him or know him.
